Trawls easy class are mainly used for transportation of light and medium construction, agricultural and special equipment weighing up to 50 tons: tractors, excavators, bulldozers, and others. Trawls in this class usually equipped with air suspension, the ability to change their size and have up to 5 axes. Trawls of the middle class used to carry heavy traffic, construction, special equipment and cargo weighing up to 200 tons. These trawls can have up to 8 axes, equipped with hydraulic suspension and the possibility of their transformation is minimal. Trawls related to the heavy class, used for transportation of oversized cargo weighing over 200 tons. At the core of their assembly and operation is modular.
Each module contains from 2 to 8 axis lines as axes, similar to "lighter" classes of this type of trawling is not. The most applicable heavy trawls in the shipbuilding, energy, nuclear, oil industries, as well as in heavy machinery and construction. Structurally, the working platform can be located at the axes and to be below their level – low loader trawl for the transport of CTG. Thanks to this original design solutions in low-frame trawl working platform located below the high points of the wheels, which provides increased capacity and stability of the trawl when placed on its bulky cargo. To increase the carrying capacity of the flat bed trawl increased number of axles, and to facilitate the maneuver used two ways: either platform equipped with controllable (thrusters), axes, or leave one or two-axis static and maneuvering at the expense of others. Ground clearance in trawls may be different. It depends on how to operate in some areas designed trailer. Typically, the gap between the roadway and the bottom trawl is 85-90 cm, in this case the combination is easy to move over rough terrain and uneven roads. For low-frame trawls, intended for use on smooth roads, the ground clearance is reduced to 25-30 cm, which greatly facilitates the process of loading on the trawl and makes it more stable for transportation of bulky cargo.
